Session 7

Heroes: Alric, Keothag, Druid, Sinhim, Gothos

The Heroes continue to help the gnome community, this time by entering the warrens of the Goldwhiskers clan, an enclave of wererat gnomes. They soon realize that the wererats are not malicious, and seek to leave in peace with their fellow gnomes. Thanks to the Heroes' diplomacy, chief Dorbo of Blingdenstone and chief Chipgrin of the Goldwhiskers shake hands once again, united in their fight against he oozes infesting the caves.

To counter this threat, the Heroes must seek the Pudding King, a mad gnome obsessed with oozes and slimes. They scout the ooze-ridden caves to the north, discovering a veritable army of oozes gathering in what was once the royal chamber of Blingdenstone. In the cavern, the crazed cries of the Pudding King can be heard, calling the name of the Faceless Lord, Juiblex the arch-demon of the Abyss.

Realising that they cannot face this threat alone, the Heroes persuade the whole community of Blingdenstone to act together, and the svifnerblin leaders gather to plan an assault on the ooze army. They plan to distract the ooze horde in order to allow the Heroes to reach the Pudding King and destroy him, hoping that without leadership the oozes will revert to their mindless status.

While preparations are ongoing, the Heroes take the time to defeat a few undead bothering the gnome citizens, and to find Entemoch's Boon, a magical circle that bolsters the svifnerblin elemental spells. The site is occupied by a couple of basilisks, but they are no match for the Heroes.

With this last task complete, the Heroes return to Blingdenstone to supervise the plan of attack. One more restless night, and then the battle for Blingdenstone will begin!
