Daza

Tiefling Bard (Lore)
Urban Bounty Hunter

Daza is a tiefling that was born and raised in the city of Neverwinter. Both her parents were bounty hunters and taught her the trade. Although she became a master in tracking down people, and used her charm to create a vast network of spies and contacts, she longed for more. Something was missing. An opportunity came, albeit not as she imagined. One of her contacts set her up , and made her (unknowingly) conspire a trap for her own parents. They were caught off guard and killed while hunting for a notorious Tiefling murderer. She could flee Neverwinter before he could get to her.

She had to flee Neverwinter and could never come back. While roaming the lands, she met up with a joyfull Bard. He amazed her with his stories and songs and they fell in love. But the tiefling in her could not bind herself to a single person as freedom was far too precious for her. But he would not let her go. Daza did not want to kill this human who was madly in love with her, but had to get rid of him. She exploded in anger after a fight too many and murdered a whole tavern full of people, and made sure the Bard got the blame for it.

Ever since, she was filled with shame of the murder and promised herself to never loose her temper again. She fled to a dark place underground. Seeking stories and adventure, to try and forget those awfull events. For years she roamed the underdark, traveling from city to city, expanding her network of spies and contacts, and hopefully find a way redeem herself.

Retired (session 18): Settled down in Manthol-derith.

Le Druid

Dark Elf Druid
Hermit

You want to know my name? I got plenty of them. Before leave me to die because I was not born a girl to make a priest, my parents would have called me son... Strangers call me Dark Elf... My enemies would rather not knowing my name at all... Only few know my true name... and those are the Beasts and the creations of Nature.... You want to know my name? Be a Follower of Nature... Or you can just call me... Druid.

Retired (session 12): Simply gone.

Keothag Rockbreaker Kolae-Gulane

Goliath Fighter
Far Traveler

Keothag of the Kolae-Gulane was the secondborn, and had to prove his strength towards his big brother Vaukhal. As Keothag was shy of nature, he focused on his strength and learning of all sorts of fighting tactics to try and prove to his father that he was a worthy son.
Eventually his father agreed that for one fall, Keothag was allowed to scout the southern fields of the mountain to try and track down the Rock, a stone Giant that has been an obstacle for safe passage for years. Keothag was able to defeat the stone giant due to observation and his cunning skills of fighting. He therefore chose his middle name Rockbreaker.
However , when he came back , after the two months it took to defeat the giant, his whole clan had dissappeared. He found traces of struggle, but also the smell of magic. Foul, dark stinking drow magic.
He knew it would not be easy, but he must set aside his shyness , and venture underneath the mountains to find out what happened to his family. And if the filthy drow were part of it, he would destroy them all.

Retired (session 9): While the party was resting for the night in an ancient tomb, Keothag decided to leave without saying goodbye...

Sinhim

Deep Gnome Rogue (Mastermind)
Faction Agent

As a young gnome I was quickly intrigued by the darker side of some of my father friends. When I grew a little bit older one of his friends introduced me to this group called "The Black Network". Little did I know this was going to influence my whole life.

Alric

Human Cleric (Life) / Fighter
Soldier

Born of a tavern wench and a noble father, Alric was sent to join the military forces from an early age. Quickly noticing that the boy took more to caring for others, than wanting to kill them, the camp officer sent him to learn from the combat medics so he could spend his time saving lives & treating injuries.
It didn’t take long before Alric was one of the camp’s more able healers, considering his young age. After a drow raid on their camp, Alric found himself surrounded by bodies & severely injured men. Alric knew he couldn’t save them all, there were simply too many.
At this point, Alric started to crumble under the pressure of the screams & death rattles. This is when he heard a voice ‘Calm down my son, you will not be able to take care of them all, such is life. But I will guide you and help you to save as much as you can’.

Alric saved many of the men that night, more than anyone could ever have hoped. When he looked upon the dawn of the new day, he again heard that same voice: ‘Now go my son, seek those that worship me, the Morninglord, they will be able to teach you more about Life & Healing than you could ever learn on your own’.
At this time, Alric felt a stinging sensation on his shoulder. Upon baring his arm, a rising sun was imprinted on his skin, marking him as Chosen by Lathander.

Gothos

Half-Orc Warlock (Undying)
Criminal

Gothos was a thug.

Not many other ways in life for an half-orc, son of a camp follower and whatever orc warlord had taken her as slave. And half-breed were not treated much better. Weaker than a pureblood orc, target of abuse and mockery. Until they were given the chance to prove themselves in battle.

Gothos still remembered that day. Bare-chested, a battleaxe in his hands, screaming at the opposing horde. A thug, but still a boy of no more than thirteen. And in the deepest part of his soul, a coward. As his tribe charged in, he slowed his pace, then lost himself among the crowds. Then he left.

He washed the tribal paints off, made his way south, starving, but eventually finding a farm. He stole clothes, avoiding the farmers. Fighting was just not his way. He was a different kind of thug. A sly one.

He had heard from his mother about the city were she was born, Luskan. Somehow he made his way there, tried to fit in. He used what he learned from his tribe, not the fighting skill, but the ability to project a threat. He would collect old debts, threaten the weak and the meek, prey on those that could not defend themselves.

Still, there was a danger to it, so when one of the wizards of the Host Tower proposed to hire him, he didn't think twice about it. And the job was just so much better: sneak into a graveyard, dig out a few corpses, bring them back to the necromancer. Dead bodies didn't struggle, didn't beg, didn't do anything at all.

Then the wizard died. Wizards were fools, Gothos knew. Life was already full of traps and dangers, no need to mess with fiends and spells. He found the wizard in his laboratory, an empty husk devoid of all life and blood. The room smelled of rotten corpses and graveyard, but so did everything around the old mage.

Gothos looked around, for something to steal that he understood, something he could sell without losing his mind, or his soul. He smirked. Don't figure my soul is worth that much, he thought.

ALLOW ME TO DISAGREE

The voice had come from the dead wizard, he was sure. He stepped back, damn wizard, causing trouble even as a corpse. A black, oily smoke came out from the mouth and the eyes of the corpse, rapidly engulfing Gothos. And then he knew.

He was fucked.

Retired (session 15): He enjoys his ill-gained riches in the great city of Waterdeep.
