Heroes: Alric, Daza, Gothos
The Heroes enter the secret passage, and they discover one more chamber containing a sarcophagus. A wraith hovers above the stone tomb, bent on draining the Heroes' life. From the sarcophagus, the voice calling for help can be heard clearly. The Heroes destroy the wraith, and then check the coffin. Inside, they find Dawnbringer, a sentient magical sword with a blade made of sunlight! The Heroes decide to rest for the night, but when they awake they're surprised to see that Keothag has left, leaving behind a few precious things as a token of his friendship.
The Heroes resume their voyage to Neverlight Grove, and on the way they rescue a gnome barbarian and a tieflng bard from their dark elves captors. Together, they reach the myconid enclave. They're welcomed by the fungus creatures, but they soon realize that something is amiss among the community. Further investigation reveals that a faction of myconids is preparing a ritual to honor Zuggtmoy, Lady of Decay. With the help of a few good-hearted myconids, the Heroes infiltrate the gardens where the ritual was being prepared, and destroy one of the myconid elders behind the nefarious plan.
